THE WHITE PILL

There has already been substantial progress in finding interventions in our chemical pathways that extend our healthspans.

All you need is to extend your lifespan by ten more years, which you could then use to extend your lifespan by ten more years, which you could then use to extend your lifespan ten more years, ad infinitum until you can live indefinitely.

Those that believe death is inevitable are so proud of themselves. They pat themselves on the back for having the courage and maturity to stare reality square in the face. "Now I can focus on something that truly matters," they babble to themselves as they march towards their death. "I'm so happy I didn't waste my life," they cry out as they leap into the oblivion.

They are wrong, of course. Their worldview is not based in reality. It is a fact that death is not inevitable. The is no law of the universe that states you must be dirt in 100 years. Organisms have the ability to repair themselves, and there is no reason why your body cannot continue to repair itself indefinitely.

There has been an incredible dearth in aging research. As a result, we have no idea what causes aging. There is thus no basis for concluding that science cannot cure aging in our lifetimes. Those that jump to this conclusion are not making an intelligent or rational decision. Their decision is made out of fear and hubris and stupidity. I look forward to watching these hypocrites demand access to a cure when one is discovered.
